I read through Anger of Angels this weekend and I'm seriously weirded out by the ridiculously high-seeming ECLs for the angelic races.
I'm looking for some feedback -- positive or negative -- from people who've played with/against PC angels, especially in campaigns that were less than 100% angel-centric (ie, one angel PC in an otherwise non-angel campaign).
What levels did you play at, how did you calculate LA, ECL, etc? How capable did the character seem, relative to other PCs (esp. non-angels)?
I'm just having a hard time accepting that a 2 HD Malakim is a warrior angel next to 8th level PCs.
